The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) was adopted by the European Parliament in April. It requires large organisations to investigate misconduct in their value chain and take appropriate action to prevent, mitigate and, where necessary, remedy negative impacts.

Put simply, it means that as an organisation you have an obligation to conduct proper investigations into possible misconduct in areas such as working conditions, environmental pollution and child labour.
